Training introduces 2015 IECC AND R406 Energy Rating Index section, RESNET, and principles used by energy raters to rate home efficiency to produce an ERI score. Training will be conducted only by RESNET Accredited Training Providers. Objectives Students able to: Explain requirements of 2015 IECC – prescriptive and performance compliance options Explain ERI compliance option of 2015 IECC Compare requirements of ERI option, Prescriptive, and Performance R405 paths of code compliance Describe structure of RESNET HERS industry Distinguish roles of RESNET, QA Providers and Raters, field inspectors Explain site inspection and performance testing requirements for HERS ratings
