ADOPTED 2016 ENHANCEMENTS TO THE NATIONAL HOME ENERGY RATING STANDARDS
The following are the amendments to the National Home Energy Rating Standards that were adopted by RESNET in 2016. The key to the success of the rating industry is to setting and implementing the standards for quality of rating services. Having technically sound and up-to-date standards enhances the credibility of the entire rating industry.
The amendments adopted are:
- Final Amendment No. 2015-02f: Addendum 17f Revision for Ratings of Energy Star Certified Multi-Family Dwelling Units in 4 & 5 Story Buildings and Innovative Design Request Definitions (June 28, 2016)
- Final Amendment No. 2016-02: Addendum 18 Chapter 9 Ethics Appeals
- Interim Amendment No. 2016-01i: Addendum 19i Chapter 2 Rating Field Inspector Evaluation
- Amendment No. 2016-03: Addendum 20 Chapters 1, 2, 3, 7, 8, 9 and 10, Appendix A & B Adopt Standard ANSI/RESNET/ICC 380-2016 (with Addendum A-2017)
