ADOPTED 2017 ENHANCEMENTS TO THE NATIONAL HOME ENERGY RATING STANDARDS
The following are the amendments to the National Home Energy Rating Standards that were adopted by RESNET in 2017. The key to the success of the rating industry is setting and implementing the standards for quality of rating services. Having technically sound and up-to-date standards enhances the credibility of the entire rating industry.
The amendments adopted are:

- Amendment No. 2017-01: Addendum 21 Chapter 1 Rating Software Changes (Persistence)
- Amendment No. 2017-02: Addendum 22 Chapter 1 Software Accreditation
- Amendment No. 2017-03: Addendum 23 Chapters 2 & 3 Reference Standards and Scope
- Amendment No. 2017-04: Addendum 24 Chapter 2 Training and Certification
- Amendment No. 2017-05i: Addendum 25i Chapter 2 Recertification
- Amendment No. 2017-05f: Addendum 25f Chapter 2 Recertification
- Amendment No. 2017-06i: Addendum 28i Appendix B Definition Confirmed Threshold Rating
- Amendment No. 2017-07: Addendum 26 Chapters 1, 2, 3 and Appendix B Probationary Ratings and Standard ANSI/RESNET/ICC 380-2016 with Addenda
- Amendment No. 2017-08i: Addendum 31i Chapter 2 Rescind Rater Simulation Practical Test for Certified Raters
