America the Beautiful. Those words take on an even deeper meaning on the 4^th of July. It’s a day when Americans gather together with friends and family to celebrate our nation and all that we’ve achieved. It’s also a day when we take stock of what’s important to us, as people and as a nation.

Today more than ever, home energy efficiency is right up there on the list. Which is why for this month’s newsletter, we decided to look at two areas in particular that embody this spirit: how to find an energy efficient home (when buying), and tips on preparing your home for when you’re away on summer vacation.
