Beat the Heat This Summer with Energy Savings!

When you think about summer, what you want to think about are things like backyard barbeques, the great weather and beach parties. What you don’t want to think about are high energy bills. Unfortunately, for too many of us, that’s exactly what we have to deal with. Trying to keep cool on hot summer days can be expensive. But it doesn’t have to be, which is what we’ll talk about in this issue of the RESNET SmartHome Newsletter. Everybody loves summer, right? We love the sunny days, the warmth, and let’s not forget our summer vacations! But one thing we DON’T love are those high energy bills that greet us at the end of each summer month. But it doesn’t always have to be that way; by practicing a bit of home energy efficiency, you can bring those bills right down and use that money for better things – like shopping for clothes to wear on your vacation!
